Finding a more gorgeous day than today would be near impossible. A true blue sky dotted with cotton ball clouds. Very warm, very dry. Light, smoke-scented and steady wind moved through the woods. I finished my inside tasks early, moved outside and devoted the afternoon to, among other things, counting the weeks until and planning for the coming holidays. It was so beautiful that staying on task was quite a challenge.
