We kick off our 2014 Halloween countdown with a 1909 postcard featuring the work of Ellen H. Clapsaddle (1863/65-1934), one of the leading American illustrators of postcards beginning in the late 19th century. She produced art for over 2000 postcards, some now valued at $10 to $50 in the vintage postcard market.
