In Control At The White House

Many observers in my circle are saying that they see President Obama being set up for an overthrow by fellow Democrats in Congress who will install a more centrist candidate - Hillary - in the White House in 2012. In several earlier posts , OTR has mentioned the issue of the balance of power between an Obama White House and a Democratic Congress. As long as the White House keeps sending weak or negative messages with obscure specifics, the Democratic Congress will be happy to jerk the leash they have around the president's neck. After all, everybody in the House and one third of the Senate has to face the electorate in about eighteen months. And I suspect the electorate in 2010 will be restless, making Democrats in marginal districts very careful how they align themselves with the new administration.
