We'll start the day's post with some creepy music, the theme from Halloween (1978). It's the original and it's as scary now as it was 36 years ago.
To continue the creep, here is the incomparable Vincent Price reading Edgar Allan Poe's classic, The Raven.
The brush of Ellen H. Clapsaddle lightens the mood in this 1909 postcard, "A Happy Halloween, Would you believe it or not!" The painting only is copyrighted by S. Sarre. The high quality card was printed in Germany.
